    ZUBIALDE S.A. was incorporated on November 21, 1985. Its sole object is the manufacture and sale of mechanical pulp. It has an output capacity of 100,000 metric tons a year. Located at Aizarnaz‡bal (Gipuzkoa), it extends over an area of 87,000 m2 along the Urola river whose waters are used in the process.
  There are basically two pulp qualities offered: unbleached mechanical pulp without any chemical additive and bleached mechanical pulp treated with hydrogen peroxide. Each quality is available in four varieties according to the refining grade. Pulp is supplied with a dryness of about 85%, in 890 x 630 x 550 mm bales of a unit weight of ca. 220kg. Six or eight bales are strapped together to form one stack.
